Biography

 

Sean Collin is an award-winning attorney who specializes in the field of family law. His expertise covers all areas of family law including but not limited to, divorce, high-net-worth divorces, child support and time sharing, modifications of alimony, enforcement actions, and prenuptial agreements.

Mr. Collin has handled several hundred divorces and family law related matters across South Florida since 2003. Mr. Collin’s clients have included many prominent figures in the local community such as professional athletes, business owners, financial advisors, doctors, lawyers, high level executives, law enforcement officers, accountants and teachers.

Mr. Collin earned his MBA as well as a Juris Doctorate, which provides him with a decisive edge in advocating and analyzing complicated financial issues that are involved in some family law matters, such as business evaluations, determining income in closely held businesses, determining pre-marital assets and the distribution of retirement accounts.

Before becoming a partner at Lyons, Snyder & Collin, Sean worked as a prosecutor at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office and was also an associate at a prestigious marital and family law firm in Fort Lauderdale.

Sean grew up in the Miami and Coral Springs region of South Florida and currently lives in Weston, Florida with his wife, Rachel, and children Eli and Zach.
